World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants Awards

World's Best Steak Restaurant Awards 2

We’re thrilled to congratulate three of our long-standing restaurant partners: Kingsley’s, Bistecca and The Gidley, for being named in this year’s World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurant Awards. All three made it into the top 50, with Executive Chef, Jason James and Head Chef, Leo Rachid of Kingsley’s took out number 31, and Executive Chef, Pip Pratt of Bistecca and The Gidley secured number 32 and 43.

Founded in London in 2019, the awards are widely regarded as the leading ranking of the best cuts of beef around the globe. Given the calibre of steakhouses in contention each year, it’s exciting to see Kingsley’s, Bistecca, and The Gidley on the list.

We supply all three restaurants with our Riverine Premium Beef MB 2+ in various cuts, collaborating closely with the chefs to meet their unique requirements. Kingsley’s boasts a large steak menu with notable cuts including our 1.5kg Riverine Tomahawk MB 2+ and 1kg Dry Aged Riverine T-Bone MB 2+. In contrast, Bistecca exclusively offers our ‘Bistecca alla Fiorentina’ or Riverine T-Bone MB 2+, which is cut according to the diner’s request. The Gidley showcases our lesser known 220g Riverine Spinalis MB 2+ alongside our Riverine Rib Eye on the Bone MB 2+. A crossbreed of Black Angus and Hereford, Riverine Premium Beef are raised in the temperate Riverina region of southwest New South Wales. The cattle are carefully selected, grass fed, and grain finished for up to 150 days to ensure exceptional eating quality.

Kingsley’s, Bistecca and The Gidley have distinguished themselves through their innovative approach, experimenting with the flavours of dry aged beef, utilising lesser-known cuts, and embracing the provenance of each steak. Their commitment has earned them recognition on the world stage.

We’d also like to make a special mention to Rockpool Bar & Grill and Porteno who also took out a place in the top 50.
