Riverine Premium Beef™ is produced exclusively from high quality Bos taurus cattle and finished in the lush, temperature climate of Southern Australia, grainfed for up to 150 days. The fertile soils, fresh air and abundant water of this rich region produces an incredible array of high quality cattle, promising to deliver a great eating experience every time with succulent tenderness, mouth-watering juiciness and rich flavour.

Cattle are sourced directly from selected producers who have the proven ability to produce quality beef worthy of the Riverine Premium Beef™ brand name. The strategic location of Cargill Beef Australia’s grain feeding and processing operations in the heartland of the southern beef industry means they have access to a continual supply of high quality Bos Taurus cattle. Cattle are finished in accordance with stringent nutritional and management guidelines.

Riverine Premium Beef™ cattle are graded by Meat Standards Australia™ (MSA), fulfilling all the requirements to ensure a superior eating experience. MSA’s beef grading system provides a guaranteed grade via measuring processing factors including age, breed, nutrition, handling transport and processing 
treatments, as well as conventional carcass parameters such as marbling, meat colour, fat distribution and Ph. With a mean processing age of 30 months and a minimum marbling score of 2+, Riverine Premium Beef is remarkably similar to USDA Choice grade – and above.
